let’s talk about sizes… | Macomb Quincy Galesburg Illinois Family Photographer

So what exactly is a “gift print” and how is it different from “wall art”.

Gift prints are sizes that you would normally give for a gift, 8×10 and smaller. In general, gift prints are considered too small for wall art. Wall art sizes typically begin at 16×20.

Illustrated here are examples of a variety of sizes. The importance of this visual example is so you can see what each size would look like in relation to furniture and to other sizes of prints.

If going big seems too risky, consider doing a grouping of smaller images or even doing a collage of smaller images, but on a large canvas.

This is just one more way I try to help guide my clients. I want each and every client of mine to fall in love with their images and helping them showcase their photographs is one small way I can help facilitate that.

Hope this helps.

I love this idea! Can I ask how you created this image? I would love to have/make something like this to show my clients. :)
